Unlike the standard formula of 2D platformers, Néro & Sci Integral Edition prioritizes shapes, numbers, and mathematical reasoning as the keys to its exploration. Players follow the journey of the titular Néro and Sci as they explore the mysterious world of Heméide after an accident unleashes the Chaos Theories. The two mathematicians must utilize experimentation, learning, and observation to overcome the challenges ahead and escape the quizzical caves of Heméide.
The game features a progressive difficulty curve and clue system that are designed to engage all players aged 13 and up, making the Néro & Sci Integral Edition both educational and welcoming for all. Over 20 hours of content have been packed into 36 levels across 4 worlds, with both solo and co-op gameplay options. Players can progress at their own pace and enjoy additional skill points gained from replaying sections while building a greater understanding of mathematical platforming.
